Shamshod Nishonov started his career in 2007 in the Security Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kogon district. From the first days, he approached his task seriously. Since 2010, he has been working in the system of the Penitentiary Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Today, he works as a senior inspector - social worker in the department of educational affairs of the 6th regional area of the Department No. 17 JIEK.

This choice is not accidental. His father, Sharif Nishonov, served in the internal affairs bodies for almost twenty-five years and retired from the position of the head of the Juvenile Department of the IIB HOOB of Bukhara district with the rank of major. His selfless service became a school of life for Shamshod Nishonov, an example of love and devotion to his profession.

Service to the Motherland and people has become a tradition in this family. Three out of four children chose the system of internal affairs bodies. His brother Bakhtiyor retired in 2015 as an employee of the Bukhara Region IIB YPX with the rank of senior sergeant, while his brother Sherbek is currently serving as a senior inspector-on-duty in the duty section of investigative detention center No. 4 of the 6th regional area.

Major Shamshod Nishonov works with convicts who have committed serious and extremely serious crimes and are recognized as extremely dangerous recidivists. The main goal is to encourage people who are serving a sentence not to re-enter the path of crime, to instill in their minds a sense of responsibility for society, family and the Motherland, and respect for the law. Such a task requires not only deep knowledge, but also strong will and thorough psychological preparation.

- Each prisoner is a special fate. It is important to listen to him, understand him and start on the right path, - says Shamshod Nishonov.

The harsh environment, strict order and various fates do not affect everyone. However, the experience gained over the years formed strong psychological stability in Major Shamshod Nishonov. He gets the mental strength to resist negative influences, first of all, from his family and community.

He spends his free time with his family. His wife is a housewife, two daughters and two sons are his biggest support in life. It is the greatest happiness for him to give proper education to his children and to see them grow up.

Shamshod Nishonov mentions his father with special respect as his first teacher. After all, his father's advice about honesty and hard work determined his life path. In addition, he relies on lessons learned from retired lieutenant colonel I. Rajabov and other mentors during his career. He is currently mentoring young employees. They are taught to love the Motherland, respect the law, protect the honor of their profession and not be indifferent to the fate of people.

"The bread of this profession is hard," he says to his students. - But for a person who lives for my country, difficulties are not an obstacle, but a test.

The life path of Major Shamshod Nishonov confirms one truth: loyalty to the Motherland is manifested not in words, but in lifelong selfless service.
