The DNA of a nation

Heraldry is not a collection of beautiful images, geometric shapes or colors. It is the visual code of the nation's DNA, political and historical will. If we look at history, the ancient Roman legions guarded their eagles, and the Turkish cavalry guarded their flags like the apple of their eye. For them, the fall of the nation was equal to the fall of the kingdom.

Many empires and great kingdoms have attempted to aggressively display their power by placing weapons, monsters, or executioner's axes on state symbols. However, a completely different philosophy flows in the veins of Uzbek statehood. It is not for nothing that the Great Master Amir Temur chose the "three rings" as the emblem of his kingdom, not the sword, but the symbol of justice, stability and harmony in the three climates of the world. Our ancestors believed that power is not in mere force, but in justice and enlightenment. Today's coat of arms is a modern, updated and more perfect representation of this fundamental historical memory.


Choice and the historical turn

The summer of 1992... It is a very complicated period when the image of a new state on the world stage is being created after the collapse of the established regime, in the vortex of economic and social crises, which has not yet fully recovered. The debates at the tenth session of the Supreme Council were not a simple debate over artists' drawings, but serious debates on determining the future geopolitical, ideological and spiritual direction of the nation.

In those historical moments, when some experts suggested placing an image of a predatory bird like an eagle or a falcon in the center of the coat of arms, national intellectuals and historians like Erkin Vahidov strongly opposed it. The reason was profound: Uzbekistan will never be a country with a spirit of conquest, eyeing the territory and wealth of others. This land is the land of creators, scientists and hardworking farmers. Therefore, the legendary Humo bird, the ambassador of resurrection, kindness and freedom, was taken as the central figure in the discussions.

How well this historical choice matches the main ideology of today's internal affairs bodies! The purpose of the system is not to punish, intimidate or use repressive methods of citizens, but to ensure their peaceful and happy life - the peaceful flight of Humo bird in the sky of the Motherland, to protect goodness in society.


A look like no other

In the world heraldic experience, coats of arms are often placed inside a heraldic shield. And the shield is an element that indicates readiness to strike back, war, and closure. Please note that the coat of arms of Uzbekistan is not in the form of a shield! It is designed in the form of a circle, which represents perfection, the continuous cycle of life. This shows that we as a country do not intend to fight with anyone, but that we are a part of global harmony.

The sun and mountains on the coat of arms are not a simple landscape - it is a living panorama of a vast space inhabited by 39 million people. The two great rivers - Amudarya and Syrdarya are not just a water source, they are a gift of time flowing from the present to the future, a link between generations. All elements, including the eight-pointed star, combine to form a single system - an ecosystem of peace and well-being.


"Conscience Detector"

Being a law enforcement officer today requires more than just knowing the law, being physically fit, or being able to use a gun. The most important thing is to be able to carry the spiritual burden placed on one's shoulders. When a citizen encounters a crime on the street, is wronged by someone, or simply seeks justice, he first turns to the state. In his opinion, the ordinary preventive inspector, operative representative or investigator standing in front of him is an important link in the system that ensures the rule of law in the entire country.

A coat of arms on an employee's uniform is a kind of "detector of conscience". A person wearing this symbol has not only a legal right, but also a moral right to break the law, treat a citizen rudely, deviate from the scope of authority or engage in corruption. 


Trust and Ideological Immunity Shield

Today, the population of New Uzbekistan has exceeded 39 million and continues to grow rapidly. Behind this number lies a great social responsibility.This means that internal affairs bodies have 39 million different fates, as many views and daily responsibility for the safety of people.

At the same time, Uzbekistan has opened up to the world today, international integration processes have accelerated. Thousands of foreign tourists, investors and guests visit our country every day. From the airport to the central squares, the representative of the state most often encountered by the foreign visitor is the employee of the internal affairs bodies. The coat of arms on the employee's uniform becomes the international face of the state's sovereignty, its stability and hospitality. Through the employee's culture, smile and willingness to help, a foreigner will be convinced that the symbol of the Humo bird on the coat of arms is really in the nature of the people.

In the age of globalization, when information attacks, cybercrimes and various foreign ideas are rampant without borders, how to form ideological immunity in the minds of young people? Not just with slogans or exhortations from high pulpits, of course! The strongest and most effective promotion of patriotism is the personal example of a law-abiding, fair, corruption-free and philanthropic internal affairs officer.

When a school-age teenager sees the honest and selfless service of his neighborhood prevention inspector, who impartially helps people, 

he grows up with inner respect and absolute confidence in the coat of arms on his clothes, that is, his Motherland. Where there is trust, no foreign ideology, no destructive idea can take root. 


The conclusion is in order

The national coat of arms is a spiritual beacon that resonates from the past, illuminates our present and shows the right path to future generations. Every line, every color and shape in it was created by the blood, hard work and great dreams of the ancestors. Every meaning in it ensures our peace today and confidently leads the society to tomorrow. Honoring the coat of arms means honoring the law, honoring human dignity.
