A meeting was held with the participation of Shuhrat Abdurahmanov, the governor of Andijan region, on the improvement of ecology and environment, prevention of air pollution. It was reported that the current situation in the region poses a serious threat not only to ecology, but also to human health.
It was noted at the conference that 40% of air pollution is caused by natural factors, and 60% by human activities. Therefore, it was mentioned that 15-day environmental measures have been announced in the region, and the working group is working day and night.
At the event, relevant instructions were given to every organization related to the topic, including internal affairs bodies. In particular, the tasks of preventing air pollution, garbage in residential areas and fires in hazans by controlling the movement of cars were assigned. Also, a competition for journalists, bloggers and information service workers was announced. It was announced that creative works on the subject will be selected in the competition and 10 winners will be awarded, and the first place winner will be given a car.
