This photo was taken on March 29, 2006, during the graduation ceremony of the senior sergeant training course at the MIA Academy. The conductor, Colonel Grigor Terzyan, is proud of it.
Grigor Terzyan was born on the Greek island of Corfu. He started his creative career at the age of 10. The Terzyan family moved to Armenia at the beginning of 1948, and at the age of 18, Grigor was called up for military service in the military orchestra in Osh, Kyrgyzstan. In 1962, he entered the Namangan Academy of Music and continued his studies without leaving the military service. Two years later, he entered the part-time department of the Tashkent State Conservatory named after Mukhtar Ashrafiy. He successfully graduated from the conservatory in 1969. Lieutenant Grigor Terzyan will continue his service in the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. In 1975, G. Terzyan was awarded the honorary title of "Honored Cultural Worker of the Republic of Uzbekistan" and the title of "Captain". From 1980 to 2009, G. Terzyan effectively served as the head of the military orchestra of the Internal Troops and trained dozens of students.
