A roundtable discussion on the topic "Prevention of cybercrime" was organized with the participation of students of the Faculty of Philology and Arts of Urganch State University named after Abu Rayhan Beruni.
It was attended by representatives of the regional internal affairs bodies - the deputy head of the investigation department of the regional IIB, major S. Berdiyev, senior investigator, senior lieutenant F. Sultanov, the senior inspector of the regional IIB ATSJQKB, captain H. Sotimov, and the preventive inspector of the university O. Zakirov.
During the roundtable discussion, experts gave students detailed information on the types of cybercrime, cases of fraud on the Internet, protection of personal data and compliance with cyber security rules.
Also, young people were called to be vigilant when using social networks, not to give personal information to strangers, and to beware of various suspicious links and pages.
