As you know, according to the relevant decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, owners of mopeds and scooters in our republic had to have a driver's license from March 1 of this year, and the license plate number of the vehicle under control had to be studied. Taking into account the proposals of most of our compatriots, this period was extended until October 1 of this year. And our compatriots still have a question? What is the purpose of this change?
- Any vehicle moving on the roads must follow the established procedures, - says senior lieutenant Abdumajid Raimjonov, senior specialist of the information service of the Andijan regional police department. - However, recently there have been many cases of non-observance of existing procedures by moped and scooter drivers. An example of this is that during the past period of this year, 33 road traffic accidents were caused by them, and 6 citizens died prematurely. 27 of our compatriots received various injuries.
It can be concluded that this introduced change serves to reduce traffic accidents on the roads and to prevent accidents that endanger human life.
