Measures aimed at ensuring public safety in "Navbahor" neighborhood of Chilanzor district were further strengthened. "Navbahor" neighborhood is located in the densely populated part of Chilonzor district. On the one hand, the market, shops and other household service facilities in the area provide comfort to the population, but on the other hand, they increase the risk of committing crimes.
The head of the MIA Academy studied the criminogenic situation of this neighborhood and familiarized himself with the work being done on the "capital model" to ensure peace in high-rise buildings, streets and public places, creating a safe environment for people, early prevention of crimes, and practical experiences.
First of all, information was heard from the officials of the region, the representatives of the working group of the academy and the employees of the "Makhalla Yetyligi" system regarding the implementation of the actual tasks set at the meeting of the video selector held under the chairmanship of the President. The factors that have a negative impact on the crime situation of the neighborhood were discussed.
It is known that the area around Chilonzor metro station, flower market and some shops are considered as "crime hotbeds" where theft crimes are recorded a lot. In order to ensure public safety in these areas, additional patrol groups consisting of patrol-post service and academy cadets were organized and directed to crime-inducing points.
In addition, 78 CCTVs, 10 Face-ID, 2 PTZ cameras, 20 night lights, 28 SOS alarm buttons have been installed in the premises and security measures have been strengthened. More than 900 households in the neighborhood were studied, about 30 objects of social prevention were identified and assigned to the employees of the "neighborhood seven" by name.
About 60 problematic issues were positively resolved on the basis of appeals made by citizens during mobile receptions. In order to strengthen preventive measures, "advocacy groups" are being organized and meetings aimed at early prevention of violations are being held.
The head of the academy together with the officials discussed the points of the quarterly "road map" one by one. He emphasized that targeted measures should serve to stabilize the criminogenic situation in "crime hotbeds", create a safe environment for residents and guests of the capital, and defined tasks for improving the efficiency of the system.
On this day, the representatives of the educational institution went to the "hot spots" in the neighborhood and communicated with the citizens. He got acquainted with the possibilities of a mobile bus operating 24 hours a day near the metro station. Recommendations were given to the officials to direct additional forces and means to the places where violations are often recorded, to regularly monitor and analyze the crime situation, and to eliminate the danger immediately.
