In Saryosiy district, one of the remote areas of Surkhondarya region, the reforms implemented in recent years are raising the quality of life of the population to a new level. In particular, positive changes in the transport infrastructure have become not only convenience, but also one of the important factors of the region's development.

Sarysia Airport, which was commissioned in 1976, served the population for many years. However, by 2005, it was closed to civil aviation. Almost twenty years later, based on the initiative and instructions of the head of our state, this airport was completely renovated and restarted at the level of modern requirements.

Today, the airport operates regular flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. The flights established on the route "Tashkent - Sariosia" have created incomparable comfort for the population, and the difficult road, which used to last for hours, can now be covered in more than an hour.

Of course, as with any transport facility of strategic importance, here, too, the issue of safety is considered as the first priority. In this regard, the employees of the security department of the Surkhondarya Region Transport Security Department at the Sariosia Airport are serving with great responsibility.

- On the scheduled days of regular flights, our employees work on duty basis, - says Major Mansur Toshboboev, senior inspector of the division's crime prevention group. - The processes of reception, registration and boarding of citizens will be under full control. Ensuring the safety of every passenger is our main goal.

Also, preventive measures are being taken in order to maintain public order, prevent suspicious situations and create a calm environment for passengers in the airport area. Modern surveillance equipment and the vigilance of experienced employees guarantee the efficiency of the process.

In short, the reopening of the Sarysia airport is not only a breakthrough in the transport system, but also opens new horizons for the economic and social development of the entire region. Now this place serves as an important flight point for development and prosperity.
