In the United States, one of the most powerful countries on Earth in terms of military potential, every year on the last Monday of May, soldiers and officers who died in wars are remembered. Military Day is celebrated on November 11. It celebrates the service of all U.S. military personnel, regardless of their time of service. More specifically, in the US, "Veterans Day" often refers to Memorial Day (remembering the fallen) or (all those who served).
In France, the National Day (Bastille Day) is celebrated on July 14, with large military parades and events of the Armed Forces, which is the main day of honoring the country's military forces. In Japan, the Defense Forces were established in 1954, and their service is celebrated on various days, but no official holiday has been designated. The Japanese honor the service of the armed forces through various events.
Spain will host a large military parade and events on October 12, demonstrating the strength and unity of the Spanish Armed Forces. The Spanish army, navy, and air force will participate in this celebration.
In China, the founding day of the People's Liberation Army, which is August 1, is celebrated as a major military holiday throughout the country. In addition, September 3 is celebrated as the day of victory against Japan and dedicated to military history.
In Russia, Defender of the Fatherland Day is celebrated every year on February 23. On the day of the holiday, ceremonial events and awarding ceremonies for representatives of the Armed Forces will be held with the participation of the president and state officials.
