During the First Eastern Renaissance in our region in the 9th-12th centuries, and in the Second Eastern Renaissance in the 14th-16th centuries, which was recognized all over the world as the "Renaissance of the Timurids", faith was strong in society, spirituality was dominant in the worldview of people, and spirituality and enlightenment were the leaders in the state system.
If we pay attention, in both Renaissance periods, the most important aspect was the attention of the state, fair and reasonable policy in the management of the country, and education was a priority. During both Renaissance periods, state leaders, scholars, and first of all, paid special attention to the issue of youth education, spirituality, and faith. Today we are living in such a blessed time, in the time when the foundation of the Third Renaissance is being laid in the holy land known to the world as the new Uzbekistan.
Let's take a look at the previous history. The Third Renaissance in our country could be realized by enlightened modernists in the 20th century. Why, these selfless and passionate people devoted their whole lives to the idea of national revival, mobilized all their strength and capabilities to take the country out of ignorance and backwardness, to save our nation from the mire of ignorance. Since the suppression of Jadids, a period of stagnation began in the field of science. Because socio-economic, political, religious and ideological pressures forced them to do so. No one could express his opinion openly, and those who did would be punished. Due to this policy, many scientists, poets, writers were "born and drowned".
Thankfully, after we gained independence, such unpleasant situations ended. The heritage of our ancestors began to be restored. Popular reforms were carried out in all areas. The people began to feel uplifted and confident about the future. Under the leadership of the President, the main goal was to create the foundations of a new Renaissance, that is, the Third Renaissance in Uzbekistan. As the head of our state noted, "We are raising the issue of the Third Renaissance as a strategic task and raising it to the level of a national idea."
If we take a look at the laws, decrees and decisions signed by the President of Uzbekistan for the development of enlightenment, education and science in the next nine years, approved National strategies and State programs, and new initiatives put forward, no one will doubt that Uzbekistan is the center of the next enlightenment renaissance.
In today's new Uzbekistan, young people are being brought up as leaders in creativity, science, and education. We are witnessing huge changes in the system of kindergartens and schools, which play a decisive role in their education. Under the leadership of our President, attention is paid to the importance of creating an integrated and continuous system that will support a child from birth to the age of 30 in every way and help him find a worthy place in life, and to provide the environment and conditions that will educate new Khorezms, Berunis, Ibn Sinas, Ulugbeks, Navoi and Baburs in order to achieve the great goal of building the foundations of the Third Renaissance in our country.
The main goal of the new renaissance is to develop the country and achieve prosperity. The third renaissance is the next stage on the path of national development in all spheres and directions. This concept implies a unique "technological leap", a highly developed "smart" economy. It also promotes more active and wider integration with the world community in the fields of science, technology, information, culture and society.

The Third Renaissance coincides with the Fourth Industrial Revolution. In turn, the transition to a digital, "smart" economy requires gradual modernization, automation, and robotization of production. At what stages this process will be carried out in Uzbekistan, it is necessary to ideologically connect with the idea of a new renaissance. In the address of the head of our state dated December 26, 2025, a new stage of the development of our country was defined.An industrial development program for transition to a new technological stage and expansion of the added value chain will be launched. In 2026, 782 new industrial and infrastructure projects worth 52 billion dollars will be launched. Next year alone, 228 new large-scale facilities worth $14 billion will be commissioned.
The long-term economic goals of the country were clearly defined in the President's speech. In particular, the goal of increasing the size of the economy of Uzbekistan from 240 billion US dollars was set, and this was evaluated as an important strategic step on the way to a new stage of development. The priority directions set out in it clearly show that the process of establishing New Uzbekistan continues on a consistent, practical and human-interest-oriented path and will be a solid foundation for the country's sustainable development and the foundation of the Third Renaissance.
In conclusion, it should be noted that the Third Renaissance is not a matter of long-term perspective. It is a real reality that is constantly being implemented in every aspect of our society today. We are sure that these reforms, which have started in our country, will continue consistently and will be a solid foundation for building a great country and a prosperous future that our people dream of.
