Since 2021, every year in October, the "Active Honorary Officer" exam has been held among veterans of internal affairs bodies. The city of Namangan, covered with flowers, opened its heart to the fifth pageant.
The event, which started at the youth center, was opened by retired Major General Erkin aka Norgitov, the Chairman of the Veterans' Council of the Ministry, and wished the participants good luck. Colonel Fakhriddin Rahmatov, the deputy head of regional police department, congratulated the veterans, who are an example to the youth, with the "Week of the Elderly" and expressed his good wishes.
Fierce and irreconcilable debates were held on the chessboard, a written test on the present and history of our country, international life, the activities of internal affairs bodies, finding perfect answers to complex questions of the oral test, presenting information about participation in the veterans' movement, expressing opinions on the further improvement of the activities of internal affairs bodies, and showing personal interests.
According to the final results of the competition consisting of several rounds, the first place was awarded to retired Major Ilhomjon Tabarov, a member of the Board of Honors of the IIB of the Yangikurgan district of Namangan region, the second place was awarded to the chairman of the Board of Honors of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the retired colonel Davlet Yusubov, the third place was awarded to the retired Major Kuatbay, a member of the Board of Honors of the IIB of Chimboy District of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. Elbayev took over.
The winners received monetary awards from the Ministry, a valuable gift, souvenirs from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Namangan region, active participants received badges of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Namangan region "Active Honorary Officer" in a magnificent casket with a festive table, retired Major General E. Norgitov, Chairman of the Board of Honors of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Head of the Department of Spiritual-Educational Affairs and Recruitment of the Ministry deputy colonel H. Makhsumov, head of the IIB of the Namangan region, colonel Sh. Alievlar solemnly handed over.
The event ended with a concert program full of beautiful songs.
