"Obod Khonadon", "Obod Kocha" and "Obod Mahalla" contests are an important social initiative that serves to raise the culture of beautification in the society, to strengthen citizens' sense of belonging and responsibility for their own house, street and neighborhood.
The results of the republican stage of this contest were announced yesterday, and Jumagul Risbayeva, a women's activist from the "Koraborik" neighborhood of Tashkent district, was named the winner in the "Most Exemplary Women's Activist" category in the "Members of the Most Exemplary Seven" category.
Jumagul Risbayeva was awarded by Umida Abulayeva, the first deputy chairman of the Family and Women's Committee, at the awarding ceremony.
As noted, Jumagul Risbayeva is systematically and effectively working to ensure employment of women in the neighborhood, support families in need of social protection, morally encourage young people, and strengthen active participation in neighborhood life.
