My house is not far from the center of Boyovut district. Sometimes in the evening, on my way home from work, I like to walk back from the lighted path along the canal. On the way, I meet my acquaintances and neighbors. I see their children flying on bicycles, I meet friends humming to each other. I will be very happy if people live such a happy, peaceful life. But they don't even think that while they are humming calmly and carelessly, a PPX employee is working vigilantly to ensure this peace. They don't think that the YPX inspector is regulating the traffic at the intersection. What happened to the employees? It is their duty 

- they carelessly pass by. 

Recently, the state of fighting against crime was analyzed in the Boyovut District Council of People's Deputies. In it, the officials of the district IIB gave a thorough analysis of the preventive measures being implemented to prevent crimes. In particular, dozens of campaign events were held against crimes such as drug addiction, violence against women, theft, and fraud. Despite this, the cases of committing this type of crime have not stopped. Why? The results of the analysis puzzled me, as well as many others. So, campaigning alone is not enough to fight against crime?

It is a challenge to attract residents to the campaign event in the neighborhoods. Because of this, many prefer to make a living rather than participate in such events. If a person who witnessed a crime is asked why he did not report it to the internal affairs body, he will say that he considers it a crime. After that, they wonder why crime is not decreasing.

Based on my thirty years of public service, I believe that crimes can be drastically reduced. For this, people together with social prevention 

it is necessary to form legal immunity in consciousness, to make intolerance to crime an integral part of the national mentality, and to further strengthen our moral values. 

Legal immunity is, first of all, a culture of respect for the rights of others. This means giving way to the "Ambulance" that is going to intervene in the patient's life, turning away the man who is abusing his wife, not being able to raise his head because of the shame of his young son, and not creating conditions for the poor woman who is selling her baby. Only then will we contribute to the fight against violations and crime.
