An educational meeting was held at Tashkent State Technical University named after Islam Karimov under the slogan "We are against violence". Leaders and officials of the district Family and Women's Department, IIOFMB officials, as well as community activists participated in it and exchanged opinions on the topic.
During the meeting, tasks related to protection of women's rights, practical mechanisms of their support, and prevention of violence were discussed in detail. Detailed information was given on the procedure for conducting preventive interviews, ways to help women in trouble, and correctional programs designed to work with persons prone to violence.
The questions of the participants of the event were answered comprehensively by experts. Also, neighborhood activists actively participating in the prevention of violence were awarded with special letters of thanks and souvenirs.
This meeting was not only informative, but once again reminded each participant of the need not to be indifferent to violence, to contribute to the strengthening of peace and harmony in the society.
